- Thiomet (Thiophanate-methyl 70% WP) is a curative, preventive and systemic broad-spectrum fungicide with contact action
- Thiomet function by disrupting fungal cell division through inhibition of a crucial process called mitosis. This interruption hinders the fungi’s ability to multiply and form new cells, weakening their structure. Consequently, the fungi struggle to grow and spread, reducing their impact on plant health and disease development.
- Thiomet is absorbed through the plant’s leaves and roots and provides a very good protective and curative effect against a wide range of fungal pathogens responsible of surface plant infection as eyespot, powdery mildew, blight or gray mold apple scab and other diseases of cereals, vegetables, fruit, leaf spot diseases and many diseases in floriculture.
