Maxam is a granular broad spectrum neonicotinoid insecticide which has quick stomach & contact activity.
It works on the central nervous system, thus disturbing the proper system signal transmission with following excitation of nerve cell and consequently a disorder of the nervous system leading to death of the targeted insect.
It helps in controlling Stem borer, gall midge, leaf folder, brown plant hopper, White Blacked Plant hopper (WBPH), Green Leaf hopper (GLH), Thrips, etc. in rice. It is also very effective in controlling Aphids, Jassids, Thrips & White Flies in cotton.
