Azogard
- Azogard (Azoxystrobin 23% SC) is a broadspectrum systemic fungicide recommended for the control of diseases infecting Grapes, Chilli, Mango, Tomato etc.
- Azogard (Azoxystrobin 23% SC) interferes with fungal diseases by targeting a specific protein complex, known as the cytochrome bc1 complex, that is vital for the fungi’s energy production. This complex plays a critical role in the electron transport chain, a process essential for generating energy in fungal cells. Azoxystrobin disrupts this complex, preventing the normal flow of electrons and thus impairing the fungi’s ability to create energy. As a result, the fungi become weakened and unable to grow, reproduce, or cause damage to plants.
